Career Orientation for Tahaddi

As part of Tahaddi Education Center's new career orientation program, the older children recently visited YWCA-Beirut's vocational training facilities. They were exposed to different training opportunities, including accounting, hair dressing, culinary arts (the one they enjoyed the most!), pre-school education and computing. The children left encouraged, and many expressed increased interest in future jobs such as becoming a chef or pre-school class assistant. Unfortunately opportunities for young people coming from non-formal education centers are still few.
